Q: Some place there are more rains, in some places there are no rains at all, why is all this happening?

Bhagavan: See, you're asking the question why there are no rains here, there is a drought there but you do not ask the question why people are so cruel here, so bad here, so destructive of nature, you don't ask such question, that’s the whole problem. See, in Kerala they are taking these cows for slaughter, so some of these animal welfare people, they have met Me, they tell me that they break the legs of the cows so that they can stack one cow upon another. So they stack cows and take them lorries. What kind of cruelty is this? Go to the……….. Look at the way they kill the animals. So Man can do all kinds of mischief; he can simply destroy plants, forests, keep on cutting as he likes, but plants have life! You are cruel. You kill animals with such cruelty. All that you can do is, a son does not respect his father, does not love his father, nobody seems to care for another. All these things you do, but you ask for rains. You ask for this, you ask for that. What right has Man got to ask? When he is not fulfilled his duties. He has never done it. Look at the wreckless way in which he is destroying nature, the way they are behaving with the animals. I can tell you the full story. Terrible it is! I know, I have authentic reports with me from people were concerned. So once as I have told you, very often I keep telling, people from a village came to me and said we want rains. In this village…. not very far from this place, they drink and beat their women. I said stop beating your women, stop drinking, I give you rains. They said Bhagavan, let us have the deal like this. You give us rains and we will stop drinking, we will stop beating. So a deal was done. The rains came they had very good crops. They drank more and they beat more. Nothing happened. So, Man is very clever. He is only ideas of fooling and having a good time. So what is left with you? Except to put sense in this head, so now the time has come, will also do miracles and help people, we also have to thrash people. There is no other go. Otherwise Man is not going to change. Now that man is slowly changing… after they were denied rains, they have come to their senses. So that is the way people are living. Their hearts are closed, they have absolutely no love, no relationship. What kind of life are we leading? What’s happening to our families? Go in and see. Continuously nagging, quarrelling, fighting, blaming… nothing is okay. You go to a school, teachers have no love for the children, children hardly respect to their teachers. How do you expect nice things to happen. So, let people change. There are villages, where people have changed and we have given them good rains. They are prosperous. There are modern villages. Go and see those villages if you want to. You see how otherwise there, how people are there. So you respond, I'll also respond. If you don't respond, question by a lone keep responding.
